MECHANISM FOR REPAIRING HOOK CAT.2S CBM
Description:
MAINTENANCE OR REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
With regular washing with water, that is, with regular removal of soil, mud, and other impurities, the hooks do not require special interventions. The frequency of washing depends on the type of work and terrain. However, it may happen that it is necessary to replace some worn-out part.
For replacing the internal parts of the hook, it is recommended to remove the lower arms. To disassemble, it is necessary:
1.) Clean the inside of the hook, removing mud, soil, and other impurities.
2.) Release the spring (9) from the pin (3) and pull out the spring pin (2). (Image 1)
3.) Align the pin (4) with the hole (5) and pull it out. (Image 2)
4.) Remove the control lever (6) from the upper opening and remove the screw, plate, and spring assembly (7-8-9) from the side.
5.) Remove the elastic pins (1A-1B)
REASSEMBLY
1.) Install the feet (1A-B) ensuring that 1A-B is oriented as shown in image 3 (groove down)
2.) Insert the latch assembly – plate and spring (7-8-9), connecting the plate with the latch. (image 3.)
3.) Align the hole (12) of the plate (8) with the hole (5) of the hook, insert the lever (6) through the upper opening. Cover the hook with the plate and secure it with the pin. (Image 2)
4.) Align the latch assembly, plate, and spring with the body of the hook and secure with the pin (2), ensuring that the pin is aligned with the upper holes and the lower part of the hook.
Finally, secure the spring (9) to the pin (3). (Image 1)
